Burns Bar BQ in Houston

The BBQ is the best me and my husband have had in H-town and we have been to several BBQ restaurants and Food Trucks. We had the hamburgers, 3 Meats, Monster Bake Potato, and Burns Special sauce, and it was all DELICIOUS! The hamburgers did not make it home :-)I tasted the seasoning, the smoked flavor, and the staff was kind and helpful with answering my questions. The parking is awful but I will do the dance for this food again. There is a small parking lot on the side of the building IF you can find a space.

I have 0 complaint. Oop scratch that! They gave me too much meat! Lol mac and cheese was on point, potato salad as well beans was hittin. I got the 2 meat plate with and extra side. Meat piled high! I'd say not expensive at all compared to the amount you get.

Burns Barbeque is excellent. I took my lady over there and it was great we ordered ,2 three meat dinners and the food was excellent. Highly recommended. Will go back soon.

Great service and delicious Hot flavorful fresh food ! What more can you ask for? Nice outside seating with games, fans and music. Perfect! We will be visiting again. Thanks for the samples as this was our first time. Much obliged. My family enjoyed the food.

Shopping at Kroger in Conroe on 336 South. Awesome smell when I got out of my car and I had to get a BBQ chopped sandwich. First time to try their BBQ- excellent sandwich! Thanks much!

I'm from Beaumont, Texas l was feeling homesick for a homemade link so when l saw that they had that ltem on the menu l was so excited but when I opened up the it was just a cut up piece of sausage l found out stop getting my hopes of finding a good homemade link in Houston,TX the rest of the food was good but not like home

Burns BBQ is the truth I've been coming here for a long time back when Mr Burns would seat in his chair near the door running things him n his team everything always good n fresh..

They where on site at Kroger's and I had a sausage sandwich and my daughter had the chopped beef sandwich and they where really good. Will have to visit the restaurant real soon.

Finally went to see the hype! I asked for moist outside cut brisket, but got the driest sliced beef I've had in a long time! Couldn't taste the smoke at all. Had to drown it with sauce just to get it down! Bought some cake as we were walking past the kitchen you can see the cake in the container from the grocery store it came from! Yeah probably wont go back. I'm good!! Sauce wasn't bad though, but as we know good que needs no sauce!

Went with a friend to get a quick bite. They serve the best barbecue I have ever ate. Thank you for your service and being open in these bad times of this epidemic.

The sandwich was good! It’s worth making the drive to give them another shot. Right now Southern Q is still in top! But I’ll come back!

Love Love Love This Place. Great Customer Service!! It's the only place I can get my Que fix with all the trimmings.The Homemade Sauce Is All That, I use it in my own recipes as well.. OMG!! When I say hands down the BEST barbecue in Houston!! The food here was fall off the bone DELICIOUS!! I had the 2 meat plate which consisted of ribs, homemade sausage, potato salad, beans, and bread. They give you a GENEROUS portion, and the staff is SUPER friendly!! I DEFINITELY will be coming back every chance I get!! Great job BURNS BBQ!! You are the REAL MVP❤️❤️❤️❤️

Some of the best BBQ I've had. The homemade sausage links .... excellent. Small space, always busy, you have to get your timing right when you want to go. The line moves pretty smoothly, yet there is no where to wait for your order, except outside. The brisket, ribs and homemade sausage were all excellent, perfect smoke and tender. Definitely go and check it out.

Best price in town. Plus BBQ is very good also. Don't let me forget they have perfect customer service 🙂

I went on a Tuesday afternoon. The socially distanced line moved quickly and their system was great! Polite, friendly service and great food! I'll DEFINITELY visit again! 😊👍

Food is great, wait time is horrible, especially in this heat. May be a great gesture for those waiting in the heat , to offer free water.

I love the food and the service is for the most part excellent. A couple of times they rush the order putting it in and comes out wrong. By the time I get home to eat, (30 minutes away), that's when I realized the order is wrong and I'm not gonna turn around to go back. Glad the food is delicious enough to eat the wrong thing...lol. Black owned also and that's a star in itself.

Oh my, my, my. If you haven’t been, you owe it to yourself to go. This is an old family BBQ place. I’ve had their chicken, pork, brisket, ribs. Never, ever been disappointed.

Hay this place has been around for years. It's a mom n pop place but hay the food is great. You not only get BBQ but u also have the option too get a hamburger n fries ETC. If you haven't tried burns BBQ u need 2 stop by and get u a bit. No meat is tuff.. If u have false teeth you still can chew it. Yes indeed.

The ribs, homemade sausage links, boudin, brisket and baked beans was very flavorful. The brisket and ribs were tender. The baked beans were full of meat. The set up while you wait was organized. The staff were polite. I'll definitely be returning and sharing with others.

The BBQ is great the sides are not that good to me personally. But I will go back because the customer service was immaculate. Great people working there.

Every time I go, they never disappoint me.. food is awesome.. and the potions is on point. It takes me 40min to get there and it's worth it.

Good food. All dinning is outdoor on a covered deck. There are several picnic tables set up with games like connect 4 on them. Groups of strangers sit together and eat and chat! Imagine that...nothing brings people together like good food and atmosphere. If you're not feeling BBQ, Burns Burgers is just on the other side of the parking lot and the good there is just as good

Never a problem before, but my brisket was too tough for me, even though I requested the tender part of the brisket(loose meat)

Their BBQ is soooo good!! Tender meat and generous portions. You know the food is good when there is always a line in front of the building.

I have been visiting Burns for the last month weeks (3 times), purchasing different items. Today they were at Summerwood Kroger at a pop up. There was a slight mix up with my order, however they fixed it quick with no problems. The customer service is awesome. The food was great and my family was happy. I will continue to support them and I strongly recommend the food.

My girlfriend and I made our way to Burns BBQ for our last date before venturing off to universities in two different states. We drove 40 minutes and waited in line for 30 minutes to order our food. With our reciept in hand, we waited for our food in our car per the cashier's instructions. After an hour, we asked one of the food runners about the status of our food explaining that it we had been waiting for an hour and he said "yes, that's normal wait times". We then waited an additional 45 minutes just to have to go back in the restaurant to find that they had overlooked our order AND that they had ran out of 2 out of the 3 meats we ordered. They attempted to rectify the situation by offering us 2 single meat meals and refunding the difference from our original order. The experience was frustrating and worst of all, disappointing.Update: the food itself is very good. Even though we were extremely frustrated by the service, the food lives up to its reputation.

Nikki treated us so well! So nice and friendly! It was our first time visiting and it was worth all the hype! We drove by this place so many times but we finally decided to stop in.The BBQ was great, the price was good, but above all, it felt like you were visiting family!Real southern hospitality, this place is worth coming back to. We can't wait to go back!

First time going. Although it's 25 miles from our home we will make the trip for some of the best BBQ in Houston. Great taste, great price and great quantity, did I say "GREAT"?

For the first time I loved a restaurant’s bbq sauce. The meat was very tender, moist, and meaty. I’ve had better dirty rice though. The baked beans were good-even though I like mine to be kind of sweet. The sausages were good as well. Next time I will try the potato. It looked so good. I love that the location stayed on the north side. Keep the money flowing in the community.

The Sausage was good!! The Ribs were excellent!! Perfect amount of smoke!! The dirty rice was kinda bland. Liked the cut up sausage in the green beans. The BBQ sauce I love!! I had to put it on everything!! Almost nowhere to park. I just parked on the side of the street. The lady taking the orders was on the hurry up and order side but the cashiers were very nice. Only outside seating, but not a big deal to me. I got my food to go!

I was craving a baked potato and dirty rice. I’m so happy this place is close to work. Thank you guys for running a fine establishment. This place is popular during lunch time. Expect to wait. Just know the food is worth the wait and they are hustling behind the scenes to bring you the best BBQ around.

Wow!! Best Small End Ribs we've ever had!! Great BBQ sauce too!! Fantastic place. Been a bunch of times since 2013 before they expanded and it never disappoints! The Chopped beef sandwich has quite a bit of fat, too much for our preferences, but really great flavor anyways. Decent burgers too. Thank you Burns BBQ! Please don't change anymore.

I gave them Two Stars beecause THEY WERE OUT OF FOOD And CLOSED!!I know the food must have been good because the cars were parked on both sides of the street from Veteran's Memorial, past the establishment.We Will Be Back!!!

This food is amazing! The sauce is spicy, sweet, smokey, and addictive. The homemade links are perfection and the beans are the best baked beans I've had. The line is long, but moves quickly. Well worth the drive!

I stood in line for two and a half in 93 heat..." literally" then they ran...out of chicken, ribs & potato salad...they were very unorganized. I always support Black own business...but this was horrible...I have never experienced any thing like this before. The only thing I can say... the food was Not Bad...I will not be going back again.
